Next time you have a day off, see if you can go the entire day without your cell phone and laptop. Make sure you fill your day with non-tech activities. Watch your kid play a soccer game, Meet a friend for lunch. Read a non-digital book. Play solitaire with a real deck of cards. At the end of the day, notice how you feel.
For Your Team
Challenge your team members to go tech-free for their next day off. If possible, share your experience of going tech-free. Give suggestions of ways to stay off devices. Then next team meeting, open with the question: “What did you learn about yourself by going tech-free for a day?”
